On the menu is fruit salad.
Watermelon, Banana,

grapefruit finely peeled,
grapes, peaches,

Blueberries and strawberries
in a nut and seed mixture

on coconut vegan yoghurt
decorated with agave syrup.

Served in red cups in the home garden.
In the middle of all and blindfolded

I recognized all sorts of long forgotten
delicacies from distant lands

(Like e.g. Italy)

No added sugar, well stirred,
Coconut yoghurt made in Austria

And distributed via a delicatessen cooperative
To each of our rural villages.

We sit in the shade
The children clean their feet

under the jet of the garden hose
And suddenly ask for chocolate
wafers and lemonade.

Their supervisors praise themselves
for the snipping skills

And they shake their heads in disbelief under their straw hats.
